Top 3 Thursday: Books my parents recommended

Luckily for me, my Mum is an avid reader as well and recommends a book almost every time I see her.

Dad, not so much – he’s recently got in to reading but I think Lee Child novels make up 90% of his ‘Read’ shelf 😉

So here are some of A Cosy Mama’s recommendations:

1. The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart – Holly Ringland

No Mum, I still haven’t read this sorry. But I promise I will!

This has been recommended to me by a few other people since I borrowed it off Mum, and it sounds like a gorgeous read.

2. The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency Series – Alexander McCall Smith

That’s right, the series that makes it in to so many of my Top 3 Thursday posts was a parent recommendation! My aunt also loves this series and lucky for me she usually buys the new releases 😉

3. The Kite Runner – Khaled Hosseini

Such a beautiful and heart-breaking read, this quickly became one of my favourites for a long time!

Do you have any recommendations to add to this?

Or, what’s the book you’re most grateful someone recommended to you?

Until next week,

M xx
