I’m not usually one to set a monthly TBR pile for myself, however I’ve had a lot of books ‘on hold’ that I’m itching to get to so I actually think I might have some answers for this week’s T3T list! Woo!
I’d love to know if you set yourself monthly TBR piles or just read what you feel. Let me know in the comments!
1. Becoming – Michelle Obama
I’m about 20% of my way through this one and loving it! It’s our book club’s read of the month and, incidentally, impossible to get a library loan on because all the hold queues are at least 10 people long. So far, it’s been worth it!
2. Gemina – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
I borrowed this from Bec a while ago and uh….well….the fact it’s on this list will tell you how bad a book-borrower I am. January 2019 it’s happening!
I also just wrote up my Illuminae review (coming next week) so I’m back in the headspace for the sequel!
3. The Truth Pixie – Matt Haig
I was so excited to receive a review copy of this one, but then a pile of other review books & my resolution to not read white males in 2018 stopped me short of reaching it before now. Needless to say I am VERY EXCITED to give it a read.
So that’s it – my first ever monthly TBR (or a portion of it). What do you reckon? 🙂
Until next week,
M xx
I tend to just read what I feel like, except for ARCs… I’ve been wanting to read Michelle Obama’s book! Everyone says it’s great. I’m not surprised you’re itching to get started with those three at all

Hope you enjoy! I also need to make the effort to read my borrowed books more quickly, haha, I have a terrible track record!
