Have you ever heard the title of a book and instantly thought “oh damn I gotta read that”? No? Just me?
Well I’m hoping some of you have had that moment so you can tell me about them in the comments!
In any case, here are my picks for this week’s Top 3 Thursday!
1. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – Douglas Adams
I love this title AND I love that the book more than lives up to it. All around greatness, Douglas Adams is definitely one of those people I’d invite to a dinner party.
2. The Surprising Power of a Good Dumpling – Wai Chim
I actually had something different on this list but then my housemate saw my recent review of this book and he was like “THAT’S a good title” and I completely agree. Thankfully, another book that lives up to it’s great name (and look, we are all now aware of my dumpling obsession, I don’t know how I didn’t think of this one sooner). You can read my review for this book here.
3. When Breath Becomes Air – Paul Kalanithi
I feel like even the title of this book is haunting but somehow beautiful. I know this book will rip my heart to shreds when I read it, so I haven’t quite had the courage to pick it up yet, but I know I’ll get a lot out of it when I do.
So what do you reckon? Have reading any of these titles made you want to add them to your to be read pile (TBR) ?
What titles sucked you in to reading a book?
Until next week,
