Famous Bookworms | Top 3

What an exciting week for me – not forgetting to post the Top 3 Thursday blogging list I host! (My apologies for being pretty bad at this one lately!)

This week’s topic is paying homage to the bookworms who inspire us to read more & own that love of reading. Big love!

1. Matilda (Matilda by Roald Dahl)

I mean…surely she’s on most lady-bookworms list of inspirations, right?! I love her now & always.

2. Leigh Sales & Annabel Crabb (Chat 10 Looks 3)

Since discovering this podcast pretty late in the game, my ‘to be read’ list has grown immensely. There are definitely some books that have been sitting dormant on my shelves awaiting their turn which have been pushed much higher up the list thanks to these two women! They also have a ‘Bedside Table‘ bookshop with all the books they mention in the podcast, for easy browsing!

3. Hermione Granger/Emma Watson (Harry Potter Series – J.K. Rowling)

I actually love that Emma Watson, who plays Hermione in the Harry Potter movie franchise, is ALSO a bookworm. She even founded @OurSharedShelf – a bi-monthly bookclub!

Who inspires you to read? I definitely have some more ‘personal’ inspirations in my life but these are the more widely known ones 🙂

Until next week,
M xx

  1. I haven’t read Matilda, in fact any of Roald Dahl’s books, till now. Never came across them in my childhood. And when I saw a second hand copy of Matilda (the one pictured above), I finally got my hands on it. I promised myself after seeing The BFG on-screen that I’d read each and every book of Roald Dahl’s now. 😍
