Hello!

I’m Mel – Sydneysider, reader, and creator of all things ‘A Cosy Reader’, including my Instagram and blog (that’s where you are now!). I’m also the creator at A Cosy Reading Shop on Etsy.

So why the book blog? I pretty much grew up with a book in my hand, but my early 20s saw a lapse in time spent reading as I took up Ultimate Frisbee and opted instead for chasing plastic around fields. A Cosy Reading Blog is my way of reconnecting with the wonderful world of books and readers ♥

When I’m not glued to the pages of a book, I work in publishing (dreamy!), doodle on my iPad, stitch things with various implements and textiles, and still chase plastic around fields with friends.
Of note: all opinions of books on these pages are my own and in no way reflect those of my employer or literally anyone except my own lil’ brain ☺
