If you've got a book lover in your life that you're struggling to buy for, you have come to the RIGHT PLACE today (you can thank me later). Below are a few of my favourite bookish goodies that I'm either coveting, or enjoying in my own bookish adventures already! 1. Page Anchors Alright so, I'm … Continue reading Bookish Gifts | Top 3

Books Set in My Favourite Place | Top 3

November 28, 2019November 27, 2019 ~ acosyreader ~ 2 Comments

Honestly even picking a favourite place is pretty damn hard for me, so I have chosen a few below and let you know where each of them is set! There have been so many great books in my reading life, and I'm so bad at remembering ones I read a long time ago - so … Continue reading Books Set in My Favourite Place | Top 3

Backlist Reads of 2019 | Top 3

November 14, 2019 ~ acosyreader ~ 1 Comment

This week we're all about those backlist titles. Not the fancy new ones that have been released this year (which always seem to jump ahead in the reading queue), but the ones waiting patiently on our shelves until we get to them. Here are my favourite 3 reads from this year that were published earlier … Continue reading Backlist Reads of 2019 | Top 3

Bookstagram Accounts | Top 3

November 7, 2019November 7, 2019 ~ acosyreader ~ Leave a comment

Ohhhh boy, given I follow more than 300 bookstagram accounts as @acosyreader, this is going to be a hard one to narrow down! But I guess that’s part of the fun, right? To make this easier on myself, I’ve taken people I’ve met IRL out of contention, since I bang on about how much I … Continue reading Bookstagram Accounts | Top 3

Halloween Reads | Top 3

October 31, 2019October 31, 2019 ~ acosyreader ~ 1 Comment

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not a spooky-book reader, so this season is always a funny one for me. Add to the fact that in Australia we’re not totally on board with the whole ‘Halloween’ thing yet (it’s just not the same without all those cosy fall vibes and pumpkin patches I … Continue reading Halloween Reads | Top 3

Local Bookshops | Top 3

October 24, 2019October 31, 2019 ~ acosyreader ~ 2 Comments

I'm really looking forward to discovering bookshops around the country (and world) from today's Top 3 Thursday posts! Local bookshops are always such a joy to me, and it's been hard whittling it down to just 3. There's nothing quite like walking in to a room or space full of books just waiting to be … Continue reading Local Bookshops | Top 3

Famous Bookworms | Top 3

October 17, 2019October 13, 2019 ~ acosyreader ~ 1 Comment

What an exciting week for me - not forgetting to post the Top 3 Thursday blogging list I host! (My apologies for being pretty bad at this one lately!) This week's topic is paying homage to the bookworms who inspire us to read more & own that love of reading. Big love! 1. Matilda (Matilda by … Continue reading Famous Bookworms | Top 3

Today I'm celebrating beautiful things - 4 years with my love, looking after myself with my first CBT session, and these gorgeous covers that fill me with joy (as do the contents) 🥰 🙏🏻 What beautiful things do you want to celebrate this week? ❤️ • • • #BeautifulCovers #RedCovers #RedBooks #BeautifulBooks
A belated congratulations to @leigh_sales for taking out the @thewalkleys Book Award this year 🎉 ANY ORDINARY DAY was an outstanding read that buoyed my heart at a time I really needed it this year. Full of warmth and emotion, but still tackling the big questions and diving into the side of trauma we don't see - what happens after something absolutely turns your life upside down? How do you go on? Such a captivating book that I took so much away from (evidenced by my heavy tabbing 😉) Highly recommend picking it up if you're one of the few who haven't already, PLUS it's been released in small format, just in time for Christmas 🎁 • • • #AnyOrdinaryDay #LeighSales #WalkleyBookAward #NonFictionReads
So. Many. Books. On. My. TBR. How do you handle TBR overwhelm? 🐧 Where do I start the reading? Can someone pay me to go off grid and read for like 3 weeks? Questions I ask myself every time my cart of books threatens to topple over and drown me 🙈 🐧 Thank you to @penguinbooksaus for adding to the pile at our #SydBookBrunch last month! 🥰 I'm still recovering 🤗 • • • #DearGirls #OliveAgain #FullDisclosure #PenguinBooks #BookPile
What are your "cosy time" essentials? I love a couch, blanket, hot tea, and cookies (with a book, of course!) 🍪 Early post tonight as we're on the plane about to take off for Hobart 🎉 • • • #HyggeHome #CosyReading #ChristmasBreakfast
